PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER                      Salary Range: $37,838 - 56,157

The Huntsville International Airport Department of Public Safety is recruiting for the position of Public Safety Officer. The Public Safety Officer position requires officer to be trained and certified by the State of Alabama in Police and Fire Fighting. It is preferred but not required that applicants have at least one of the two certifications.  Applicant must be 21 years of age and be able to obtain the required certifications within first year of employment.  Applicant considered for employment must pass:

• Physical Agility Test

MAINTENANCE TECH II                            Salary Range: $35,719 - 53,581

The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority is accepting applications for a Maintenance Technician II position that performs a combination of skilled electrical, HVAC, plumbing and electronic maintenance and repair work at the Huntsville International Airport facilities.  Technician is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance during normal and after regular business hours.  Completion of two year technical/vocational school program in one or more of the primary maintenance trades described above with at least two years of related experience is preferred. Excellent customer service and team work skills are necessary.
